Data Deletion

Murmly ingests email and Instagram direct messages and comments for the accounts you connect, solely to display them in a private triage dashboard, operated by Shmergsons Private Limited.

You can delete your data yourself, at any time:

• Disconnect an account in Murmly. Open Connections, find the account, and choose Disconnect. This immediately and permanently erases that account’s stored messages, threads, and classification rules, along with the connected-account record itself — including its stored credentials and access tokens. It works for every connected channel, email and Instagram alike.
• Submit an Instagram data-deletion request (from your Instagram/Facebook settings) — Meta forwards it to us and it is processed automatically on receipt, erasing the same data as above. Note that simply removing Murmly from your Instagram account only revokes our access; to also erase data we already ingested, disconnect it in Murmly or send a deletion request.

If you have lost access to your Murmly account, email admin@shmergsons.com from the address associated with it and we will erase your data on your behalf.
